A luxury candle is more than fragrance — it is atmosphere, emotion, and craftsmanship. To ensure your candle maintains its beauty and performance from first light to final glow, proper care is essential.

1. Trim the wick before every burn

Always keep the wick trimmed to around 5mm. This allows the flame to burn cleanly, prevents smoke, and protects the wax from overheating. A well-trimmed wick ensures an even, elegant flame.

2. Allow a full melt pool on the first burn

The first burn sets the memory of the candle. Let the wax melt fully to the edges of the vessel. This prevents tunnelling and guarantees a smooth, even burn throughout the candle’s life.

3. Avoid burning for too long

Burn your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time. Excessive burning can overheat the wax, affecting both the fragrance quality and the lifespan.

4. Protect it from the environment

Keep your candle away from direct sunlight, drafts, and extreme temperatures. Sunlight can fade the wax and weaken the scent, while drafts cause uneven burning.

5. Store it with care

When not in use, cover your candle or place it in its box. This preserves the fragrance and protects it from dust, maintaining its original richness.

A well-cared-for candle rewards you with a cleaner burn, a deeper fragrance, and a longer life — exactly as it was designed to be experienced.
